Presently and my most recent work has been teaching singing and rhythm, xylophones and a whole lot of fun musical activities! For 5-13 years at St Mary’s School and Hokitika Primary School.

Creative in Schools Grant
Thanks to the “Creative in Schools Grant”, I completed a very successful project for 20 weeks teaching Singing and Drumming at Hokitika School, we were able to resource the school with instruments and materials needed to run the project.
This could also be a possibility for your school! Funded by the Ministry of Education.

Community Singing Workshops and Master Classes
Whether it’s the full blown vocal master classes that teaches you step by step vocal basics to advance technical vocal pedagogy or an organic tuition-less vocal discovery session, I’m passionately committed to ensuring your experience is uplifting and vibrant. My goal for beginners is to plant the singing seed to ensure you vocally blossom or for the advanced singer that you harness the journey of the voice for transformation and vocal development through all that is taught during our classes.

Drum Workshops for Communities
My teaching first started with Drumming workshops 18 years ago. During this time, I taught numerous Drumming one day workshops, weekend courses and a bunch of 8-week rhythm foundation courses level 1,2 and 3 that led to stage performance level, stage productions and shows.
Singing workshops over the years developed into 8-week courses/master classes through adult education centres.

My Time in Overseas Communities
Norfolk Island Arts hosted me to teach a 4-week drum course where I also taught a 2-week kids’ course “sunshine drummers” at the Norfolk Island School.
I facilitated authentic and organic style Vocal Classes for 2 years for Adults at the Aloha Temple Mullumbimby Australia.
